Jimin is a Korean born, multinational fashion designer who spent her time in Seoul, Hong Kong, Hawaii, and New York.

Her work is a self manifesto in a world where she simultaneously belongs everywhere and nowhere at the same time. An assemblage of extracted puzzle pieces from her multinational upbringing fabricated into a depiction of the authentic self. 

 

Her work is a self-assertion. An intentional act of assembling and presenting one’s true self in a world that defines us before we can define ourselves. It does not seek to be loud, but rather to exist with quiet certainty, urging the viewer to look beyond first impressions and engage with the deeper nuances of identity.
